He can also clean this trick up nicely by having some kind of double sided tape on the cheat page to tape the two pages together and hide the cheat notes. Notice how when he flips through all the pages, he doesn't show every single page. So how does the trick work? He just turns to that one page that has the cheat sheet but all the other pages are blank. Therefore, entire pages in the book can be encoded down to just one short line. And then you can put something like 4 6 "Watson", which would mean the 4th paragraph 6th word is Watson. Where it'd mean that there's 5 paragraphs, and the first paragraph has 3 sentences. The code can be written very small because you can pack information such as the number of paragraphs, and how many sentences per paragraph. Allison can't say something like, "Okay, what's the fourth word in the third paragraph?". He only says number of paragraphs and other things. Notice how he doesn't say everything on the page that Allison turns to. Shawn flips to a certain page that isn't blank. I'm not 100% sure if I remember correctly how this trick is done, but I think it goes something like this: This should be a big clue on how this trick is done (i.e. If I recall, you can actually buy this magic trick off him and he GIVES YOU the books. Ah, I solved for this magic trick back when it came out.
